Anissa Sutton founded Pump It Up Magazine in 2013. She is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, which started as an online publication and later expanded to include digital and print editions and Podcast. Born and raised in France, Anissa has a background in music and entrepreneurship, having previously created other publications such as Music Umbrella Magazine and Delit Music Magazine.
Now, she brings a unique cultural perspective and a keen eye for branding to her work. Happily married and living in the USA with her husband, legendary Motown producer and music business executive Michael B. Sutton—known for his work with Michael Jackson, Pat Boone's labels, and many other industry icons—Anissa continues to make a significant impact in the entertainment world. As the Founder & CEO of Editions L.A. and Pump It Up Magazine, she is dedicated to empowering artists and brands through innovative marketing and publishing solutions.
Anissa is also a book publisher and founder of www.bilingualbookstore.com, a platform dedicated to multilingual books and educational resources. In addition to her publishing ventures, she is a highly sought-after consultant in branding, marketing, and publishing, providing expert guidance through Editions L.A.
